Booklore invites you to a gathering around Materiae Palimpsest, a book that explores the Moroccan Pavilion project at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. The book looks at earth architecture in Morocco and the traditional knowledge and craftsmanship associated with this material, while also exploring their dialogue with contemporary technologies and practices.

Through a reflection on material, memory, and the transmission of knowledge, Materiae Palimpsest also considers how ancestral practices can contribute to imagining a more sustainable approach to architecture. The gathering will be an opportunity to discover the book and exchange ideas around these questions.
